Tad Sae Waterfall

Tad Sae Waterfall is famous for being one of the most famous falls in Luang Prabang with a stunning natural wonder that you can enjoy during the wet season and it is also less touristy than Kuang Si Falls. Locals usually visit this waterfall over the weekend, so you’re better off visiting this wonderful fall during the week.

Wat Xieng Thong

Also known as the Golden City or Golden Tree Monastery, Wat Xieng Thong is the most popular historically significant and impressive wat of this city in particular and Laos in general. This beautiful and richly decorated wat was built in 1559 by King Setthathirath in the Mekong river’s banks.

Elephant Village Sanctuary

Elephant Village Sanctuary is a great place to let you an opportunity to explore how well the elephants are being treated and have a closer look at this magnificent and gentle animal. In 2003, this village was set up and now it is owned by a group of passionate Lao nationals. There is an option of riding elephants but you can choose not to do it due to ethical standards.
