This Angkor Temple Ruin is the pride of Lao people by its values of history, art, and culture. Also, the place offers gorgeous surrounding scenery from the mountain’s top which is well-worth climbing.

Mount Phousi

Also called Phu Si, this attraction is situated in the heart of Luang Prabang which is surrounded by the rivers of Nam Khan and Mekong. Famous for being the sacred mountain or the sacred hill, Mount Phousi has an important role in Buddhist life. From the summit of Phousi, you can enjoy an outstanding panoramic view of either the sunrise or sunset of the city and the Mekong River.

Tad Sae Waterfall

Tad Sae Waterfall is famous for being one of the most famous falls in Luang Prabang with a stunning natural wonder that you can enjoy during the wet season and it is also less touristy than Kuang Si Falls. Locals usually visit this waterfall over the weekend, so you’re better off visiting this wonderful fall during the week.

Kuang Si Falls

Kuang Si Falls (also spelt Tat Kuang Si or Kuang Xi) is located in Northern Laos and tucked away in the lush tropical jungle near the Tat Kuang Si Bear Rescue Center. It is around 50 minutes from Luang Prabang centre to this majestic waterfall and you are able to book a tuk-tuk to visit it. Spending time to swim, relax in the shade and jump in and out of the water should definitely be in any traveller’s bucket list.
